During the meeting, the Regent praised Bank Jatim’s strong and consistent financial performance, calling it a positive signal for regional economic stability and development.
According to her, the bank’s achievements not only reflect a healthy financial institution but also demonstrate an effective intermediation role—connecting public savings with productive business financing.
“This performance shows that the banking sector is functioning well in supporting economic activities, especially productive business sectors,” she said.
Record Financial Growth
Bank Jatim recorded a net profit of Rp1.546 trillion, making it the highest-performing Regional Development Bank (BPD) in Indonesia. The bank’s total assets also reached Rp168.85 trillion, showing significant annual growth.
The increase in lending activities and third-party funds further reflects strong public trust in the regional bank.
Support for MSMEs and Inclusive Financing
The Lumajang Regent stressed that the bank’s positive growth should be used to expand financing access for local entrepreneurs, particularly Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which play a vital role in the regional economy.
“Financial access must continue to reach more local businesses so economic growth can become more inclusive,” she explained.

She also highlighted Bank Jatim’s digital transformation efforts as an important step toward improving efficiency and widening public access to financial services.
Digitalization, she said, helps create faster, more transparent, and adaptive banking services that better meet community needs.

For the Pemerintah Kabupaten Lumajang, maintaining Bank Jatim’s strong performance is closely linked to efforts to preserve regional economic stability.
The Regent expressed hope that the partnership between local government and the banking sector would continue to grow stronger, especially in supporting priority sectors and sustainable economic development.
