“It used to be just a regular river for irrigation. But with the cooperation of residents and young people, we wanted to turn it into something the village could be proud of,” he said enthusiastically.
The positive impact is already felt by the community. Many local micro-business owners are now experiencing increased income. One of them is Soleha, a local food vendor.
“Since this place opened, Alhamdulillah, sales have been much better. Many visitors stop by to buy food and drinks. It really helps the family economy,” she said.
